ATO - Approved Training Organisation & How To Be One
Approved Training Organisations or ATOs are accredited by WDA to deliver training and/or conduct assessment under the WSQ system.
ATOs may be:
- External training providers that are in the business of conducting training and/or assessment
- Companies/organisations that train and/or assess their own staff (also known as in-house providers)
Trainees who receive training and assessment by ATOs will be issued with WSQ certification that is nationally endorsed and industry recognised.
A high level of quality is assured because ATOs are accredited
and continually reviewed for improvement by WDA.
Applicants for accreditation as ATO must show evidence that testifies to
Quality on Organisation and
Quality on Execution of WSQ based programmes, upon application & thereafter.
After accreditation, quality on the above is monitored for consistency and further improvement through annual Continuous Improvement Reviews (CIRs).
